Canadian Intelligence Eh! Episode 332 - Why Oman should play a bigger role in the Persian Gulf conflict

With the US/Israel and Iran at war, a party that gets along with everyone is indispensable

am fairly certain that most people have either never heard of Oman or could not find it on a map. This small sultanate does not garner many headlines but is, oddly enough, one of the more stable Middle East regimes (hence the lack of headlines I guess!). Located at the mouth of the Straits of Hormuz, which have played a huge role in the US/Israel-Iran war, it has traditionally had good relations with both Iran and the West. Given this, should it be brought in to find a solution to the conflict? I talk about this with a specialist in the region.
